Training and Support

OMCS trys to help our customers become self sufficient with their analysis. We  provide training for customers in two different ways:

Self Drive Analysis  – whereby the customer is trained on OMCS equipment to analyse their own samples.

Company Training – whereby the company wishes to upskill their staff on specific equipment to use it more effectively.

OMCS staff participate in regular training days organised by the University of Oxford. Some of the more recent courses include:

  • October 2013: “Nanoparticle Characterisation” as part of the CDT in Healthcare Innovation, organised by the Institute of Biomedical Engineering (IBME).
  • July 2013: “Nano Characterisation Weekend” as part of the Postgraduate Certificate in Nanotechnology, Oxford University.
  • July 2012: “BioTINet Summer School Oxford” is a Marie Curie Initial Training Network (ITN) for early stage researchers and experienced researchers funded under FP7.
